Here are some creations made exclusivley with punches..aren't they cute? On the right of the page there is a link to an online album with TONS of punch art. Great to use on cards or scrapbook pages...wait until you see how the characters of the Simpsons were made!! Be sure to check it out!! It's been hard trying to find time to post on my blog because we have been down at Lake Anna and there is no INTERNET!! Trust me..it's hard! What else are you supposed to do while you drink coffee in the morning. No blog hoppin' here...I have however made some goodies using the new In Color line and new stamp sets. New 09/10 In Color

Here is just a sneak peak of the new In Color line, I love them! Here you see when you stamp off and get a double image...it's like two colors in one!! I have been working on so many goodies with the new colors and stamp sets. I will start posting them July 1st!! Stay tuned!! I might even post pictures of my bedroom walls in the new Soft Suede color~ so pretty!!

Wow...I will be a busy girl today planning upcoming events and making so many 'cool' little projects for you to make over the next few months. A few things to mention...not only is July 1, 2009 when the catalog goes live, but so many things will happen!! I will be hosting an Open House with Make & Takes, door prizes, food and refreshments and it will be an opportunity to pick up your copy of the new catalog.

I will also be announcing new 'Monthly Challenges', the next 'Buying Club's will begin again, 3-D kit club will start, swaps, RAKs and so much more! Clear Envelope Brag Book

These albums were made as 'thank-you' gifts for the teachers this year that my kids had. Hope they like them!!! My daughter Regan was involved with making them, she loves to stamp and it's so cute when she talks about becoming a demonstrator. She's only 9 and I am surprised sometimes with what she comes up with all on her own!! There is a tutorial on how to make these mini-albums on SCS. I can't believe that the school year is coming to an end...AAAHHHH!! I sent along in their gift bag a disposable camera where the kids can take pictures of their classmates in action and they can all sign the book.

So my BIG news of the day?? My new Stampin' Up! catalog arrived today and WOW!! They did a fabulous job...it's so pretty!! I love the new ribbons and kits and the In Color line??? I am always sad to see the old colors retire...but I love the new ones too!! When my order arrived today..I didn't know what to play with first?? The new colors, stamps, or Big Shot goodies?? I know..such dilemas!! My husband actually came home for lunch today and I barely said a word to him..I was too busy admiring the catalog! One of the new In Colors is called Soft Suede...and good thing I ordered the card stock...I have a piece taped to my bedroom wall..it's just what I was looking for!! We have had so many different paint swatches stuck here and there trying to decide what we liked...this color is PERFECT! So warm and soothing...I might even want to lick the walls when we are done! It reminds me a little bit of chocolate!! YUM!! I will have 'sweet' dreams for sure!!

Pull Toy Duck

This card was made for a swap that I'm in and this month's theme was baby. I had a hard time narrowing down what I was going to do. I had seen a real cute idea using the Big Shot Serif Essentials Alphabet (113464) and creating the letters B-A-B-Y and now here is where you need to put your thinking cap on and try to imagine...you cut out the letters twice.

1.) B in first chipboard or my latest favorite COASTERS!! (http://www.stamponthis.com/) (this will become the base)

2.) 2nd layer will be a window sheet or sheet of acetate (see where I'm going yet??)

3.) 3rd layer will be your card stock or DSP also cut out using the die

4.) Under the acetate you can fill with beads.

So does that make any sense?? If you search 'baby shaker' on SCS. You will see what I am talking about. I might have to try it and let you know how it turns out.

Now on to my creation. This idea was inspired and pretty much CASED from Heather. I love her ideas and her punch art is to die for!! So be sure to check out her blog.

Stamp Set: Goody-Goody Gumdrops (113730) hostess level 3

Card Stock: kraft, whisper white, apricot appeal

Ink: basic brown, apricot appeal, barely banana, creamy caramel, craft whisper white (sponged edges of kraft card stock)

Accessories: linen thread (104199), sponges (101610), Crafters' Tool Kit (104310), 1 1/4" circle punch (104403), 1" circle punch (109046), dimensionals (104430), blender pens (102845), silver brads (104336)

Here is a close up and you can see that when you pull the linen thread the duck slides across the track...cute huh?? Hope you all have a great day!!
