Fabric Flower Pin

I LOVE these cool fabric flowers I have seen all over the web. I have made several of them in all sorts of colors, fabrics and not just as pins!! I love our new clear stamps...they are so easy to use and they feel just like the tradional wood-mount blocks. They are WAY better than any others I have tried...sure I am a bit biased but try them for yourself and I'm sure you will agree!! Off to try another video..stay tuned!!

I'm back!!

Hey there!! Happy Spring to you all!! I have a couple cards to share with you today.... these were made at a recent Stamp-a-Stack. Hope you like them!! The first card is hard to tell from the photo, but the bird image punched out with the square punches has a cracked glass finish. Click here to see how this technique is done...it looks so neat IRL!! This was a CASE from a card I spotted on SCS. We made 4 each of the 3 designs. The candle shown was the gift for the hostess. Please let me know if you have any questions!!

Stamp Set: Of the Earth (hostess level 1) & Spring Song (tag on candle)

Card Stock: whisper white, basic gray, garden green

Ink: whisper white craft, basic gray

Access: basic gray taffeta ribbon, 1 1/4" square punch, 1 3/8" square punch, versamark, clear embossing powder and heat gun

I know I know...say it isn't so!! I loved how this card turned out...with the bold and beautiful yellow?? Sadly Yo-Yo Yellow will be one of the 30 colors to retire by the end of June so remember to check your inventory, stock up on card stock, ribbon or ink refills now on your favorite retiring colors. Hanging Heart Baskets

Here is the 3-D item we made at my last Stamp Camp. Each one holds a tart warmer that was placed inside in a small cello bag (which smell good enough to eat!!) These are so quick and easy to make using the Petal Card die (113467) and the Big Shot. You could use these to hold candy, notes etc. Click here for a great tutorial on Dawn's site. Here is a close up of my favorite...think it's because I love both brown and orange...and these crocheted flowers (115604) are the cutest!! Stay tuned and I'll post pictures of the cards that we made. Yup~ two posts in one day!!

Valentine's Home Decor

Look 'Ma'...no stamps!! This banner was so quick and easy to make~just my kind of decorating!! At first I wasn't going to order the new Sending Love DSP (117153) in the Occasions Mini Catalog...but after seeing SO many cute projects using it... I could not resist. In fact, I even expedited my order. (hee hee) I knew I wanted to create something to spruce up the house with some Valentine's Day decor and these projects left my craft area cleaner than the norm~this Sending Love DSP is already embellished with glitter on it!! So you go to bed without looking like you spent the afternoon in Neverland with Tinkerbell.

Details: 2 sheets of Sahara Sand CS at 12" x 3 1/4". Next score every 3". Take one of the pieces of Sahara Sand and cut off 1 1/2" on one side of the 3" squares. (this is how the two pieces will attach). Mountain and valley fold your Sahara Sand CS and attach your DSP of choice ( each piece measures 3" x 2 3/4"). I punched out the letters using Serif Essentials Alphabet (113464) and Chocolate Chip CS. Added a few embellishments and Voila~ So easy..a caveman can do it!!

Now this one...I know you love it don't ya?? Me too!! I was inspired to recreate this beauty after the lovely Connie Babbert who has made one very similar. I took two pictures to show how glittery this paper really is!! I apologize for the bad photos...it's me not the camera (hee hee!).

Be Mine Treat Cup

Brrrrr!!!! Even though it is FREEZING outside...I am so excited for tomorrow!! My Stampin' Up! order with all my goodies is supposd to arrive..that is as long as we don't get too much snow!! I think they are only calling for a few inches..but the kids are praying that there is enough for the schools to close. This weekend I have one goal...to get my fingers all covered in ink...paper scraps all over the floor..glitter in my hair...I will be a happy girl and will have new projects to share with you all during next week. Card Recipe Stamps: Sweetheart stamp set (available in clear and wood mount) Paper: Bashful Blue textured card stockOld Olive textured card stock Real Red textured card stock Whisper White card stock Ink: Old Olive Classic Stampin' Pad Accessories: Heart Treat CupCrushed Curry polka dot ribbonFull Heart punch Scallop Edge punch Instructions: Adhere strip of Bashful Blue textured card stock to center of card. Adhere to Crushed Curry polka dot ribbon to card. Stamp Be Mine in Old olive ink on square of Whisper White card stock. Punch out center of heart image with Full Heart punch. Insert Heart Treat Cup and fill. Peel off adhesive cover and adhere Heart Treat Cup to a second square of Whisper White card stock to seal the cup. Punch scallops from Real Red textured card stock with Scallop Edge punch. Adhere scallops to back of Whisper White square. Adhere Whisper White square to card. I just love these treat cups!!
